Anastasia Gketsopoulou
I recently completed my PhD study investigating the impact of Alox15 gene, a family lipoxygenase enzyme, on cognition and behaviour in trans genetic mouse model. I have extensive experience in in vivo mouse work, behavioral assessment, histology, as well as biochemical assessment including mass spectrometry.
In the current lab, I aim to understand how visual neuroplasticity is regulated through interaction in the local environment and crosstalk between different brain regions, such as dorsal raphe nuclei using cutting-edge imaging, electrophysiological and pharmacological approaches. a.gketsopoulou at ucl.ac.uk |
