Lauched officially in 2021, the Visual Plasticity Lab studies how neuroplasticity in the visual systems is regulated through interaction in the local environment as well as crosstalk between different brain regions. We apply state-of-art imaging techniques, together with computational, physiological, pharmacological, and molecular manipulation, to identify the underlying biological basis of visual cortical plasticity.
The Visual Plasticity Lab is located at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, at the bustling old street area and neighbor to Moorfields Eye Hopital. We are currently offering a funded 1-year RA with the start date of Sep 2024, as well as some other research opportunities. If you are interested in joining our team in the near future, feel free to reach out !
